Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HR Specialist to join our team at Vibrant Wellness Labs in Santa Clara, CA. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day HR functions, with a primary focus on HR system implementation and administration. You will be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing HR technologies like ADP, BambooHR, ensuring smooth HR operations, and supporting our growing team. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, highly organized, and proficient in HR systems with a strong understanding of the latest HR technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Systems Management:
- Implement, configure, and manage HRIS platforms such as ADP, BambooHR, or other HR management systems.
- Ensure the smooth running and maintenance of HR platforms, including updating employee records, processing payroll, benefits administration, and performance tracking.
- Act as the point of contact for troubleshooting issues and ensuring timely resolution of system-related problems.
Data Management:
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Generate regular reports from the HR system to track metrics such as turnover, employee performance, and other key HR KPIs.
- Assist with data migration, system integration, and other technical aspects of HR systems.
HR Operations & Process Improvement:
- Streamline HR processes by leveraging technology to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
- Work closely with other departments (Finance, IT, etc.) to optimize HR-related workflows and ensure smooth system operations.
- Conduct system audits to ensure data integrity, compliance, and privacy standards are met.
Employee Support & Engagement:
- Provide day-to-day HR support to employees, answering questions about benefits, policies, and HR systems.
- Assist with onboarding, employee engagement initiatives, and HR-related employee programs.
- Work closely with managers and leadership to ensure HR initiatives align with company goals and foster a positive work environment.
Technology & Training:
- Train employees and management on how to use HR systems effectively.
- Stay current on the latest HR technology trends and platforms, recommending and implementing upgrades or new solutions when needed.
- Support the team in adapting to new tools and ensuring smooth transitions when implementing new HR systems.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, with a strong focus on HR system implementation, administration, and optimization.
- Proven experience with HRIS systems like ADP, BambooHR, or similar platforms is required.
- Experience in system integration, data management, and employee record maintenance in an HR context.
Skills:
- Tech-Savvy: High proficiency in using HRIS platforms, databases, and other HR-related technologies.
- Strong understanding of HR processes such as payroll, benefits administration, employee records management, and compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to address system-related challenges efficiently.
- Data-driven, with a strong ability to analyze and report on HR metrics.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Additional Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, growing environment.
- Proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.
