Are you an experienced financial leader with a strong background in wealth management and family office environments? Our client is looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee and manage all financial aspects of their family portfolio, including investments, trusts, real estate, and philanthropy.
As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you should possess high integrity, confidentiality, strong organizational skills, and will be detail-oriented and adaptable.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the family office’s financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Monitor and manage a diverse range of investments, collaborating with external advisors to assess performance and make recommendations
- Identify and manage financial risks, ensuring appropriate insurance coverage and mitigation strategies are in place
- Oversee accounting functions, including financial statements, audits, tax filings, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop tax strategies to optimize efficiency and ensure compliance with regulations
- Manage cash flow and oversee banking relationships to ensure liquidity for expenses and investments
- Collaborate with estate planning attorneys to develop and manage estate plans and trusts aligned with family goals
- Oversee charitable initiatives and coordinate giving strategies with philanthropic advisors
- Lead finance and accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Master of Business Administration (MBA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license, preferred
- Minimum of 10 years in financial management, particularly in wealth management or family office settings, with prior experience as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO), or in a similar senior role
- Strong knowledge of investment strategies and asset classes, in-depth understanding of tax and estate planning, and proficiency in financial reporting systems
