About the Job:
- Liaise with different departments to ensure the accurate and timely transfer of data or records for internal staff updates.
- Edit and update employee records with the utmost confidentiality including salary changes, address changes, name changes, etc.
- Manage the attorney and legal staff onboarding and training program for all new hires with the firm, including but not limited to, conducting reference checks, employment verification procedures for new hires and background checks.
- Assist with managing and tracking leave across data programs and spreadsheets.
- Maintain an open line of communication and assistance for ad hoc tasks, such as completing expense reports, answering staff inquiries, maintaining compliance, and internal requests.
- Track internal deadlines, such as licensing renewal periods.
- Provide administrative assistance as needed across the team to further projects and initiatives, including but not limited to, event coordination, timecard submissions, benefit-related tasks and budget tracking.

About You:
- Balanced within HR. You possess at least three years of experience in HR or legal recruiting; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Extremely organized. You have superior organizational and time management skills, with an emphasis on following practice and procedures.
- Dialed in. You are focused in a busy environment and multitask effectively.
- People-minded. You enjoy working on a team and assisting others with a welcoming and positive attitude.
- System oriented. You have experience working across HRIS systems as well as Microsoft Office.
