Our client is a boutique law firm that is looking for a Chief of Staff / Director of Operations to be a true jack of all trades getting involved with everything ranging from office management, overseeing administrative staff, strategic right hand to the partners, accounting/billing tasks, technology enhancements, process improvements and so much more!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage daily office operations, ensuring smooth workflows and effective communication among legal and administrative staff.
- Coordinate schedules and resources to support attorneys in meeting case deadlines and client needs.
- Supervise administrative staff, providing training, performance evaluations, and support to maintain high standards of productivity.
- Oversee billing and accounting processes, including invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and trust account management.
- Implement and maintain office policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Monitor office inventory and vendor contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement and uninterrupted operations.
- Manage onboarding and training for new hires, fostering a supportive and efficient work environment.
- Ensure the firm’s technology systems are operational, liaising with IT support for maintenance and upgrades.
- Act as a point of contact for clients, vendors, and external partners, maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years of administrative/operations experience in legal industry
- Strong word processing skills (Word and Excel)
- Experience with Billing systems/software (Quickbooks/Clio)
- Organizational skills - individual must exhibit excellent organizational skills
- Communication - individual must have strong interpersonal and written skills and be comfortable communicating with people at all levels
